I completed my Aromatic studies and Education Certification with Shanti Dechen at the Aroma Apothecary Healing Arts Institute.

 

Additionally, I’ve completed live seminars with experts in the field that include Peter Holmes, Joy Bowles and Colleen Quinn.

 

I am also enrolled in the Professional Herbalist Online Certification program with Michael Tierra at the East West School of Planetary Herbology.

 

As a forever student and life long learner, I plan to continue my studies with experts and leaders in the aromatic field, continually expanding my knowledge and education. I am an official Registered Aromatherapist (RA) as designated by the Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC). I am a professional member of the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA), a Level 3 Professional Member of National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), and the International Clinical Aromatherapy Network (ICAN).

 

 I am a mom of two busy kids, and a wife. I own The Cosmic Gardens, a studio flower boutique and in my former life, I was a high school art teacher for 20 years. Glass blowing, art, and gardening are my passions. Additionally, I have a mobile glassblowing business.

 

My quest for holistic learning inevitably led me to essential oils 25 years ago. It was love at first sniff, and success at first formulation.  I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve others with aromatherapy. Teaching others how to use aromatics safely and effectively brings me tremendous joy.  My ultimate goal in creating Cosmic Aromatics is to empower others to use these potent and healing gifts of nature safely and effectively for their own well-being; in body, mind and spirit.
